hey there.
my name is madison whited. i'm so glad you decided to visit my website to learn more about me, take a look at my past projects, and potentially book a session with me! on this page you can read all about my journey and what led me to this chapter in my life!
all about me.
i grew up just outside of lafayette, indiana. my interest in photography really grew in high school when i started taking photography classes. i started during sophomore year, and forced my older sister to be my model more often than not. :) she even ran barefoot through the snow for me! i continued photography classes during my junior and senior years and continued to hone my skills.

i graduated high school in 2023, and decided to attend savannah college of art and design in atlanta, georgia to study film and television. my dream was to become a costume designer or possibly a set designer. i moved to atlanta in september and attended scad for about a month before deciding it wasn't right for me. i moved back home in early november with the goal of eventually moving back to atlanta to break into the industry without an education. my plan was to get a job and save up for the move while i was living at home. i finally got a job after lots of applying, but the job was temporary. so i was forced to find another job... i felt stuck and lost in life. i ran away to michigan for a week, only telling one person before i left, to figure out what to do next. i knew i wanted to do something i was passionate about, not another odd job that was just busy work. i brought my camera with me to michigan, and took lots of pictures of the scenery while i was there. when i got back, i had a long talk with someone about what i was going to do with my life. she said "it's staring you in the face!" alluding to the fact that i've been enjoying photography for years. i finally decided to take the leap.
and here we are! portrait work has always been my favorite, so i'm very excited to start this new chapter. i hope you'll join me! my goal is to always make my models feel comfortable and gorgeous in their own skin, and to give them pictures they can treasure and look back on for years to come!
